Even in this sixth edition, Half Marathon of Tirana comes with a special event for the young people of the city. On October 22, 2022, the Fun Run race will take place, where the protagonists of this category will be Tirana school students, who will run on the streets of the city carrying the sensitizing message: “Education of generations through sport”.
This race will start at 09:00a.m, at “Mother Teresa” and will describe a segment with symbolic length of 2km. For the winners of the first three positions, there will be a symbolic reward, but more than that, this race is seen as a good way to encourage young people to engage in sports and a start to preparing there self’s for competition, and after few years in the Marathon of Tirana.
Regarding the organization of this event, announcements for participation of Tirana school students will be conducted through the Schools Directorates and the Regional Education Directorate of Tirana, during September 2022.
