One of the biggest sporting events in Albania, Wizz Air Tirana Marathon brings together thousands of runners from around the world in the heart of the capital, for a day of energy, passion, and a spirit of togetherness.

About Us
The Wizz Air Tirana Marathon is the biggest sporting event in the capital, returning this year for its tenth edition on 25 October 2026. This edition comes as Tirana continues to grow into one of the most vibrant and fast-changing capitals in the Balkans.
In the previous edition, the Wizz Air Tirana Marathon welcomed over 4,000 participants, not only from Albania but also from countries such as Poland, Ukraine, Kosovo, and Austria, who took part in an exciting, challenging, and rewarding race.

Run, walk, or just soak up the atmosphere through Tirana's streets, closed to traffic for the morning — finishing with music, a crowd, and a well-earned medal.
